For pharmacies & chemists
Know every expiry date before it costs you.
Pharmacies lose money to stock that expires on the shelf. Stockwaka tracks expiry by batch, warns you in time to act, and never sends expired drugs to a customer who ordered online.
Built for a pharmacy shelf
Expiry handled properly
Expiry tracked per batch
Restock before you run out and each batch keeps its own date, so fresh stock never inherits an old one.
Soonest-expiring counted first
Sales are taken from the batch that expires first, so the dates left in your records match a well-run shelf.
Expired stock never goes out online
A product with any expired units is hidden from your online shop until it is written off or re-dated.
Alerts in time to act
Stockwaka warns you ahead of expiry, and one command puts everything close to expiry on offer.
Warnings at the counter
The counter app flags stock expiring within 14 days, even offline, and lets staff write off expired stock.
Found by customers nearby
Once you are listed, someone who asks "where can I buy paracetamol near me?" can be shown your pharmacy.
Good to know
What Stockwaka is not
Not a prescription register
Stockwaka does not keep a prescription register or a controlled-drug log. Keep those in the system your regulator requires.
FAQ
Questions people ask
Can Stockwaka track drugs with different expiry dates?
Yes. Each dated restock is kept as its own batch, and EXPIRY LIST shows what expires soonest first.
What happens to expired stock?
It stays in your records so you can re-date, discount or write it off. A write-off is recorded as a loss, shown separately from your profit.
Are medicines charged VAT?
VAT is off unless you switch it on. If you do, mark exempt items with TAX, the item name, then OFF.
Can I scan barcodes?
Yes. The counter app works with a USB barcode scanner and learns any product it does not recognise the first time you scan it.
