Wakastore · for retail chains
The WhatsApp storefront, licensed to you
Your customers order from their nearest branch on WhatsApp — by typing or by voice, with nothing to install. Wakastore runs on your infrastructure, on your WhatsApp Business number, under your brand, fed by the stock system you already have.
Perpetual licence · source escrow · no commission on your sales
Already proven against real trading
Wakastore is the customer-facing storefront built by BitaSei Technologies Limited. The same engine powers Stockwaka, our retail suite for independent Nigerian shops — which is why it arrives having been used by real merchants and real shoppers rather than written for one contract, and why it keeps being improved after you have bought it.
We license it non-exclusively and retain the copyright. That is precisely why it is still maintained in five years, instead of frozen on the day it was sold.
What it is
A shop your customers reach without installing anything
Four claims your own team can check inside a pilot.
Nothing to download
The shopper taps a link, or scans a code on the shop front, and is in a WhatsApp thread with that branch. It works on 2G, on an entry-level handset, inside an app they already have open. No install, no account, no password reset.
They can speak the order
A voice note is transcribed and matched against a closed list of that branch's real, priced, in-stock catalogue. Nothing is invented — an item we cannot match comes back as unmatched rather than substituted with something similar.
Branch-accurate, not chain-approximate
Stock, prices and reservations are held per branch. An order placed against one store cannot hold another store’s stock, and a shopper is never sold something that is only on the shelf across town.
You keep the money, the relationship and the data
Payments go to your account. We never hold, route, pool or settle funds, and take no percentage of any sale — and because the software runs on your infrastructure, we never hold a customer record either.
How it connects
Your stock system stays in charge
One server-to-server integration, documented publicly, testable before anyone signs anything.
- Your system pushes absolute per-store stock. A sync SETS the figure it sends rather than applying a movement, so re-sending a payload is a no-op and a dropped one is corrected by the next.
- Wakastore publishes the orders its storefront generates on a cursor-based feed your job pulls and acknowledges. Nothing is deducted from your count by us — an order is a request your system accepts.
- Store codes map to branches, and your own product reference is the join key. A description corrected in your system follows through instead of fragmenting into a second product.
- Scoped API keys, so a read-only integration cannot write. Keys are hashed at rest, revocable, and never travel in a URL.
Commercials
One payment, then it is yours
A board that wants capital expenditure rather than another monthly line item is the point of this product.
What you buy
A perpetual licence
From ₦8m
One payment, for the whole chain, however many stores.
- It does not expire and cannot be revoked
- Installed on your infrastructure, unlimited stores
- Source code released to you, modifiable for your own use
- Held in source escrow, so nothing depends on us surviving
A capital purchase, not a subscription. The floor is published; your own figure is quoted against a measured pilot rather than invented in a brochure.
Then, if you want it
Support & updates
- A named contact and an agreed response time
- Every improvement we ship, including new Wakastore features
- Prepaid for one or five years, never monthly
- Let it lapse and the software keeps running
Optional. Letting it lapse costs you updates and our response times, never the right to use what you bought.
What is never charged
No cut of your sales
- No commission, no percentage, no per-order fee
- No per-store licence and no seat count
- No payment rail to opt into — money never passes through us
- No charge for the customers the channel brings you
The money question is the one a storefront vendor usually leaves until last. It is answered here.
Prove it first, then buy it
A perpetual licence is a capital purchase, and nobody should make one on the strength of a demonstration. We run a pilot in a handful of your stores, on our infrastructure, at no cost — and you choose the number that decides it before we start. If that number is not met, the pilot ends, we remove our software, and you owe nothing.
Honest limits
What Wakastore is not
Your team will find these in week one of a pilot. Better they are written down first.
It does not replace your POS or ERP
Wakastore is an additional customer channel. Your existing system stays the record of truth for stock, and the counter process does not change.
No regulated registers
No prescription register, no controlled-drug log, no HMO or NHIS claims handling. Those are regulated systems with their own audit obligations, and we are deliberately not building them.
Stock flows one way
Your system is authoritative. A sync sets an absolute figure rather than applying a delta, so a dropped message is corrected by the next one instead of drifting permanently.
We hold nothing once it is yours
On a licensed installation you are the data controller. There is no vendor-side copy of your customer list to be asked for, subpoenaed or breached.
Run a chain? Let us show you the working product
Not slides. A live storefront, an offline counter, and an API your team can curl the same afternoon. Tell us how many stores you run and what your stock system is, and we will come back with a pilot scope.
